Here is a fantastic organization that will be having a gown sale at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco next Saturday, October 30. Please check out this great gown sale for a worthy cause! You will be amazed at the deals that you can get at the sale. Inspirations by Gina will be volunteering at the event from 11 to 2 so make sure you stop by!
Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns is coming to the Sacramento area on June 3-5 at the Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club! The organization needs the dedication of individuals to enable the foundation to accomplish their mission – to grant wishes for stage IV breast cancer patients.
The Power Hour Preview Shopping Spree will kick off the event on Thursday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to Noon. The General Sale will be held on Thursday, June 3 from Noon – 8 p.m., Friday, June 4 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 5 from 8 a.m. – Noon. The event will be held at the Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club located at 8791 Morgan Creek Lane in Roseville, CA 95747.
If you have certain times that you would like to work during these days, please let Brides Against Breast Cancer know. They typically ask volunteers to dedicate at least four hours of their time. But you are not limited by any means. You can work all day or multiple / days if you would like!
Below are possible shifts. But they will can work around your schedule so let them know when you can make it! Please arrive 20-30 minutes before your shift so you can grab a complimentary volunteer t-shirt and get familiar with the gowns. They also need men to help, so please feel free to bring your boyfriends, husbands and friends along!
Wednesday, June 2
5 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Unload the gowns/set up – we need lots of help with this!
Thursday, June 3
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (10 a.m. – Noon is the special Power Hour event)
Noon – 4 p.m.
4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday, June 4
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (10 a.m. – Noon is the special Power Hour event)
Noon – 4 p.m.
4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, June 5
8 a.m. – Noon
Noon – 3 p.m. – Tear-down/load gowns back on truck – they need lots of help with this!
Please wear dressy/casual attire – they suggest khaki, black or brown pants or skirt – please do not wear ripped blue jeans. They will provide each volunteer with a specially designed keepsake Brides Against Breast Cancer t-shirt to wear at the event. They also recommend dressing in comfortable shoes!
Complimentary parking is available at the Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club.
